The Producer
Champagne Brice is a family-owned producer located in Bouzy, a Grand Cru-classified village in Montagne de Reims, Champagne. The Brices were amongst the first generation of inhabitants in Bouzy, and the family house was established in 1764, originally as a still red wine producer. In 1945, as the vineyards got rejuvenated with replanting of vines, the operations modernised, cellars expanded and production transformed, the first vintage of Champagne Brice was released. Today, the house is helmed by Rémi and Jean-René Brice, the 12th generation owners, together with Christophe Constant, who takes the role of the cellar master. Champagne Brice proudly owns 12 hectares of organically-viticultured vines, including 8 hectares of Pinot Noir and Chardonnay in the Grand Cru slopes of Bouzy, 2.5 hectares of Pinot Noir in Loches-sur Ource, as well as 1.5 hectares of Pinot Noir and Pinot Meunier in Chigny-lès-Roses, Aube. It began organic and biodynamic practices in 2016 and received the High Environmental Value label HEV3 in 2020.
