About the Producer
Arnaud Baillot, owner of Domaine Arnaud Baillot, is located in Beaune, the heart of the Côte d’Or.
Arnaud, together with his wife Laure (granddaughter of Domaine Hudelot-Noëllat in Chambolle-Musigny), acquired a small vineyard in Côte de Beaune in 2017, and embarked on producing an extensive range of villages and crus. Production is generally small, with each wine typically yielding just 1- 3 barrels.
As a winemaker, Arnaud demonstrates conviction to fully express the potential of terroir-driven Burgundy wines. He uses no stem in all his wines, minimal new oak (light toast) and exerts minimal intervention, leaving room for the terroir to speak everything for itself. Indeed, his wines are full of transparency.
